[It's been half a year since his breakup with Iris, and it's been a few months that this has been going on now - after one drunken night where Eddie stumbled into the a different type of club than intended, gave his number out on the dance floor. A few obnoxious texts from Connor the next morning, and here they are, months later. It's hard to define what it is they have, but it's interesting, it's new, it's something completely different, separated from his previous way of life, and it feels intense. Passionate. Good.

Tonight it was a quick series of texts and Eddie's heading off to his apartment, with that thrill, the excitement, the knot in his gut. A knock on the door, and he leans against the doorframe in a bright blue henley and a leather jacket, waiting. Anticipating.]

[ Connor takes his time. It's just the kind of person he is. The loud snapping shut of a book from behind the door, some papers rustling, the sound of foot steps towards the door as he peers out the view hole and smiles. Of course he knows who's behind the door--it isn't like they hadn't already agreed to the arrangement tonight, but it's all about the effect and the presentation for Connor, so going through each motion to play the part is absolutely essential for the outcome as a whole.

He opens the door, a light smile curling at the corners of his lips as he looks Eddie up and down briefly.

Blue looks good on him, and looks better when he curls his fingers a bit in the top beneath the leather jacket and draws him inside with a little bit of force. Connor himself is predictable in one aspect--the clean, sleek lines of black, expensive, comfortable that look more distinguished than moody against his skin. ]

That was fast. [ He didn't expect him to arrive so soon--not that that's a problem. It isn't as if he was unprepared. ]
