Nearly two weeks. Eddie had been captured for nearly two weeks before they'd figured out where he was being held. And he'd been right under their noses the entire time. He felt awful for not piecing it together sooner and he wasn't sure he wanted to know what Eobard had done to him, the terrible things he must have said.
Somehow, Cisco managed to rein in the big swell of emotion he was feeling rise up in his chest. He let Caitlin check him over, listens as Eddie recounts the story. But the only thing Cisco is focused on is Eddie. His face. His eyes. The smile that he sees right through. It's a put on thing, a mask to say he's okay when he's the furthest thing from it, and Cisco can see it plain as day.
When he asks to go home, Cisco's immediately at his side, threading his fingers carefully through Eddie's own. "Let me come with you." The words are more of a statement than a question, he's not very intent on letting Eddie stay alone right now. That's the last thing he needs.
